Yes.. I know we should have thought of this question waayyyy back when the baby was still wriggling inside me.. Well, we did.
We made the decision to send him to nursery since there is no way of us taking in a maid in this small house up in the sky. Plus taking a maid is too expensive. Plus everyone else sends their kids to nurseries too. Plus hubby's workplace got a nursery so he can take a look at the baby whenever he is free. Plus.. Plus...
Fast forward to the present.
The nursery at Hubby's workplace doesn't accept anymore babies. There is a nursery right next to our block, but when we went and take a look, we didn't have the heart to leave Dzharif there. The babies just lay there looking at the ceiling. There were these two small babies lying on the bed, where the first baby's feet is in constant contact with the second baby's head. The feet keeps kicking and the head keep receiving. Uwaaaa.... That is soooooo sadd.... To leave Dzharif in the care of someone who doesn't care....
Before that I received a question from a friend, asking whether i was planning to send dzharif to a nursery, since her 7 month old baby was then warded for infection. Of course la the infection comes from the viruses that flies around the nursery. She had to take 4 days of emergency leave to be with the baby. Itu baby yang dah besar and exclusively breastfed! and somehow her boss went cheeky and all sarcastic on her because of the leave. Hoh.
Hubby went as far as suggesting we get another maid to be placed in Bangi solely to take care of Dzharif. The present maid can't cope with another small baby since umar pun hardly 10 months. Still a baby. What with the housework. But i kinda close my eye la, pretending it is gonna be okay.
But talking with my sis yesterday gave me a slap in the face. When i said we are gonna send Dzharif to nursery, she shouted, "KESIANNYYEEE!!!! OH MANNNN!!!" Mind you this is through the phone yach. Huhuhu.... Baruuu rasa sedih yang amat.. Uwawawawa..
Then, she suggested we take a look see about having a day helper. The lady works for her MIL. Well, her MIL has 2 helpers so maybe she won't miss one. Heh. What a coincidence. Hubby suggested the same thing. I am seriously considering this. Though everyone must be stationed in Bangi laa.. This needs serious talk with mama and abah.. The money thing will have to be coped with. Everything needs to be settled before the week is out.
Wish us luck.
